The Scottish Government has set aside £30m under the Scottish Stations Investment Fund to improve facilities at existing stations and create new ones around the country.

Beattock has a very strong case for some of this money, but first the Government needs local people to prove this.

The only way we can do this is by paying for an expert report, carried out by a rail industry professional, to show why reopening the station is essential to regenerate the area.

This is why Beattock Station Action Group has launched a campaign to raise £25,000 for the report.
