Lack of response to letter – Follow up action

January 13, 2024 Latest News 0

In early December we sent a letter to the Transport Minister and Transport Scotland requesting a face-to-face meeting to discuss the inadequate response to to the STAG report.

Our ongoing efforts to engage with Transport Minister and Transport Scotland have yielded no response thus far.

Recognising the gravity of the situation, Councilor Stephen Thompson took it upon himself to send a letter to the Transport Minister, explicitly requesting a meeting to discuss the pressing matters at hand. Despite Councilor Thompson’s proactive approach and genuine concern for the community, there has been no response to his letter.

In light of the lack of response from the Transport Minister and Transport Scotland, MSP Oliver Mundell has decided to take action. Mundell is preparing to send a letter to the Transport Minister, urging for immediate attention to the issues raised and requesting a meeting to address these concerns. Mundell’s involvement underscores the collective determination to resolve these matters and emphasizes the importance of a timely response from the relevant authorities.

The lack of response from the Transport Minister and Transport Scotland is disheartening, but our commitment to addressing community concerns remains unwavering. Through the dedicated efforts of Councilor Stephen Thompson and MSP Oliver Mundell, we hope to prompt a swift and positive response that addresses the pressing issues at hand. In the coming weeks, we will continue to update the community on any developments and strive for a resolution that benefits everyone involved.
